Samantha joined the professional staff at Grant & Associates as a
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Intern in September 2007. She
brings with her the ability to accurately capture details of her
cases with her excellent writing and technical skills. With her
background in Psychology and experience advising students during her
college years, Samantha applies all of her skills and knowledge,
tailoring her approach to each individual case.
Samantha attained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Puget Sound in May 2007. She also has an Associate of Arts degree from Clark College in Vancouver, WA. During the past two and a half years of her education, Samantha served as the Transfer Student Peer Advisor at UPS, using her own experiences as a transfer student to provide others with the tools and resources for success on the UPS campus. She also completed an internship in the Child Life Unit at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma in the fall of 2006, where she worked with inpatient and outpatient units, providing activities and resources for children and families at the hospital. Samantha is also a Registered Counselor with the Washington State Department of Health.
Samantha spends her free time with friends and family. She enjoys reading, writing, music, gardening, and any show on the Food Network.
