Julie A. Grant is the owner and founder of Grant & Associates.
She began the company in 1986 following four years as a registered
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor practicing in
Olympia, Washington. She was motivated to start her own company
because she was a strong leader in this industry and felt that she
could provide not only an excellent work environment but could
develop a dynamic team of vocational rehabilitation counselors.
For 19 years, Julie and her two best friends in the industry, Katie Bennett and Debby Duchan, who owned Consulting Network, collaborated and consulted one another concerning all aspects of business enterprise. Julie, Katie and Debby merged their companies into Grant & Associates in August 2005.
Over the last 21 years as a business owner, along with being the CEO of Grant & Associates, she has continued her commitment to community service. She has played a leadership role on various boards and commissions such as President of the Thurston County Economic Development Council; Chair of the Pacific Mountain Private Industry Council; Chair of the Board of Trustees, South Puget Sound Community College; President of the Trustee Association of Community and Technical Colleges; and she has received the TACTC Trustee of the Year Award.
As a positive result of the merge, Julie is able to focus on continuing her vision of a heartfelt and caring work environment. She is dedicated to making this business a dynamic force in the industry. In her spare time, you can find Julie caring for her granddaughters, traveling, reading and dancing with her husband, Lloyd.
